Musical Saw with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra - April 26-27, 2025 at the Winspear Centre, Edmonton
I had the most unexpected and memorable experience playing the musical saw with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for the second movement of Khachaturian’s Piano Concerto in D-flat Major! The piano soloist, Sheng Cai, was absolutely phenomenal and the conductor, Julian Kuerti, was so encouraging and gracious. Thank you to everyone who was involved in giving me this opportunity! Pretending to be a violin and getting to be immersed by the sound of the orchestra on stage is an experience that will be with me until the end of my days.
